Taj Export

We are located at No. T-30/6 in Mehrauli. It’s an old part of the city, and our office fits right in with the surrounding narrow streets and busy atmosphere. Taj Export is a small outfit, and we spend most of our time coordinating shipments and checking on quality. There’s always a lot of paperwork when you’re dealing with exports, so someone is usually hunched over a desk with a pen or a phone. Mehrauli has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk to work every morning through the crowded lanes. We don’t have a big corporate setup; it’s more like a family-run place where everyone knows what their job is and just gets on with it. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a deadline is approaching and we have to get everything packed and ready for the transport trucks that struggle to navigate the small roads. We deal with various goods, but the process is always the same—check everything twice and make sure it’s going where it’s supposed to go. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while, so we know the neighbors well and the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our drink in the afternoon. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours and we put in the time. We just try to keep things moving smoothly and stay out of trouble with the shippers. There’s a certain rhythm to the work here that we’ve all gotten used to.
