Maurya Exports

Our office is located in Dayanand Colony, which is part of Lajpat Nagar IV in New Delhi. It is a very busy part of the city, and our building at A-151 is right in the middle of all the action. We deal with exports, so there is always a lot of talk in the office about shipping dates and container space. The office itself is pretty plain and simple. We have some heavy wooden desks that are quite old and walls that are mostly covered with calendars and logistics maps. It gets quite loud during the middle of the day with all the street noise coming in from outside. We are a small team and we have been working together for many years now. We usually have samples of the items we export sitting around in various boxes, sometimes making it a little hard to walk through the main hallway. We do not have any big flashy signs outside, just a small nameplate on the door so people know they have the right place. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the Delhi traffic, but we are all used to it by now. We spend most of our time on emails and making calls to people in different time zones. It is a lot of sitting and typing, only punctuated by the occasional visit from a courier or a vendor. It is just a straightforward and honest place of work.
