You’ll find Lords Wear in the basement of K-62 over in Lajpat Nagar-II. Working in a basement means we don't get much natural light, but we’ve got plenty of bright lamps so we can see what we’re doing with the clothes. Lajpat Nagar is always a bit of a madhouse, especially on weekends when the shoppers are out in full force. We can hear the footsteps and the muffled sounds of the market from up above. It’s a busy spot to be. We have racks and racks of items squeezed into the space. Sometimes it feels a little tight when everyone is working at once, but we’ve gotten used to maneuvering around the boxes. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's more of a place where the actual work happens. My brother and I usually open up around ten in the morning. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the sizes are sorted correctly. If there’s a problem with a batch, we fix it right then and there. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some notebooks and a lot of memory. It works for us. Usually, we grab some food from the street vendors outside when we get a chance. It’s just a normal business day for us here, trying to get things out the door without too much fuss.
