Khan Handicrafts

Khan Handicrafts is located over at R-192 Okhla Road, right in the Batla House area. If you know where Noor Masjid is, we are quite close to that. The shop has been around for a bit and we mainly deal with different types of handmade items. It’s a busy part of town and there is always something happening on the street outside. Inside, it’s a bit more quiet, filled with the things we have for sale. We spend a lot of time sorting through the stock and making sure everything looks okay. People stop by while they are out doing their regular shopping near the mosque. We aren't a big showroom or anything like that. It is more of a practical space where we keep our items on shelves and in stacks. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a lot of stuff arrives at once. We just handle the daily customers and try to answer their questions about what we have. Most of the people who come in are from the neighborhood or nearby. Working here means you get to see a lot of the local life in Okhla. We open up in the morning and stay until things wind down in the evening. It is a simple setup and we like it that way. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the shop running and making sure we have what people are looking for when they walk in.
