Kashmir Creations

You can find Kashmir Creations at A-250-251, Shivalik, which is right near Malviya Nagar. It’s a busy spot and there is always something going on outside our doors. We have been here for a while now, working out of these two units. It’s a bit cramped because we have so much stock piled up, but we make it work. Most days are spent sorting through materials and making sure everything looks okay. We don't have a fancy website or a big social media presence. Most people just walk in or call us because they know we are here. The lighting in the back room isn't the best, so we do most of the detailed work near the front windows where there is more sun. It gets quite noisy with the traffic from Malviya Nagar, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the shop running and pay the bills. The staff is mostly local people who walk or take the bus to get here. We share a pot of tea every afternoon around four o'clock. It’s a small operation and we handle everything ourselves, from the heavy lifting to the paperwork. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit behind, but we eventually catch up. It is just how a small business works in this city. It’s nothing special but it’s ours.
