Kary Exports

Kary Exports is tucked away in Je-27, over in the Khirki Extension area of Malviya Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze back here, and the delivery trucks sometimes have a hard time getting through the narrow lanes. We spend a lot of our time surrounded by tape, cardboard boxes, and bubble wrap. It’s not a glamorous space, just an office and a storage area where we get things ready to send out. The fans hum all day to keep us cool, but it still gets stuffy when we are moving heavy crates around. Most of the neighbors are also doing their own small businesses, so there is always someone dragging a trolley or shouting for a tea delivery. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the paperwork starts to pile up on the old wooden desks. We handle all sorts of items here, checking them one by one before they get sealed up. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers making sure the labels are right. If you come by, you might find us sitting on a stack of boxes taking a lunch break. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and know the local chai wallah by name. It’s just regular work, nothing too complicated about it. We close the shutters at six and head home like everyone else. It's a living.
