Karpet Kingdom

Karpet Kingdom is on the ground floor of C-42 in Lajpat Nagar-III. If you know the area, you know how hectic Lajpat Nagar can be. There’s always someone shouting, cars honking, and people everywhere. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for us to move the heavy rolls in and out. We don't have a lot of empty space. Every corner is filled with some kind of carpet or rug. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We aren't corporate people. We don't have meetings about synergy or whatever. We just open the shop, talk to the customers, and manage the stock. It’s a simple way to run a business. Sometimes the rain floods the street a little, and we have to be quick with the sandbags. That’s just life in Lajpat Nagar. We know most of the other folks on the block. We share news and complain about the traffic together. The carpets are the main thing. We know where each one came from and what it's made of. We don't need a brochure to tell you that. You can just feel the material for yourself. We like being right here on the ground floor where we can see everything going on in the street. It’s just us doing our thing.
