K. B. Decor is situated at C-21, Nirmalpuri, in the Lajpat Nagar-Iv area. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded and lively this part of town can be. Our shop is tucked in there among all the other businesses. We’ve been around for quite a while now. The space is filled with all sorts of materials for decorating and fixing up homes. We have rolls of stuff and boxes stacked up in the back. It’s not the biggest shop, but we make use of every inch we have. Sometimes it’s hard to find things quickly if we’ve had a busy week of deliveries. We don't really have a sales team. It’s usually just one of us behind the counter or out the back helping unload a truck. We prefer it that way because we know exactly what we have in stock. The street outside can get pretty jammed with cars and rickshaws, especially on the weekends. We usually open up early to beat the morning rush. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy brochures. Most of our customers are locals or people who heard about us from a neighbor. We just try to keep things honest and give people a fair deal on what they need for their houses. It’s a simple way to run a business and it has worked for us so far. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come.
