Jute Wonders Unlimited

Our office is in the Jyoti Building, room 201, right in the middle of Nehru Place. If you know Nehru Place, you know it’s the heart of the computer and electronics trade in Delhi, so it is always buzzing. It’s crowded, loud, and there’s always someone trying to sell you a cable or a laptop. Among all that tech, we are Jute Wonders Unlimited. It’s a bit funny being a jute-focused business in a place famous for silicon, but we’ve been at 66 Nehru Place for quite some time. The office is usually full of samples—bags, fabrics, and all sorts of things made from jute. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, honestly. We have stuff piled up on the extra chairs and the desks are covered in swatches. But we know where everything is. Being on the second floor of the Jyoti Building means we can see the crowds below. We spend our days talking to suppliers and trying to figure out new ways to use the material. Jute is a rough, honest fiber, and I think our business is a bit like that too. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just like what we do and we like being in the thick of the action at Nehru Place. It’s a lot of hard work, but when we see a finished product ready to go out, it feels worth all the effort we put in.
