Isha Fashioners

You can find Isha Fashioners over in Okhla Phase I, right in the middle of the industrial area. Being in B-138 means we deal with a lot of noise and trucks moving around all day. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and our space is pretty much what you’d expect from an industrial unit. We have machines running and people cutting fabric most of the time. It’s not a quiet place to sit and chat, but it’s where the work gets done. We started this because we knew how to handle garments and wanted to have our own setup. It’s a lot of manual work, checking seams and making sure the sizes are right before anything goes out the door. The heat in the summer can get pretty intense in the warehouse, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We don't have a team of people writing fancy descriptions for us. It’s just us here in the factory area. People who work with us know we’re usually covered in thread or bits of cloth. We’ve been at this address for a good bit of time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a lot. There’s always something to fix or a machine that needs oiling. We just take it one day at a time, making sure we finish what’s on the table before heading home. There is no corporate office here.
