In-Style Carpet Flooring & Interiors

We are down in the basement at C-22, A, in Kalkaji. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler during the Delhi heat, but we have to keep the lights on all day. We have stacks of carpet rolls and flooring samples all over the place. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when we are looking for a specific pattern. Working in interiors means we are always looking at catalogs and trying to match colors. The space is filled with the smell of new carpet and adhesive. We have been here for a while, and the locals in Kalkaji know where to find us if they need something for their floors. It is a practical setup, nothing too fancy. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or walking around the basement showing people different textures. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep when we are carrying heavy samples up to the street. We do our own paperwork on a small desk tucked in the corner. It gets a bit cluttered with all the measuring tapes and fabric swatches lying around. My nephew helps out with the heavy rolls on the weekends. We just try to get the job done without too much fuss. It is a regular small business life, dealing with whatever comes through the door each day. The basement can be a bit quiet, but we like it that way because it lets us focus on the work.
