Innovative Crafts

We’ve been here in Krishna Nagar for a while now, tucked away on the second floor above Gupta Clinic. If you’re coming down Street No. 3, you just have to look for the clinic sign and head up the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb, but we like it up here. Our space is usually filled with scraps of material and half-finished projects because there’s always something going on. Innovative Crafts isn't some big factory; it's just us working with our hands. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud, especially during the market hours, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started doing this because we just liked making things, and it turned into a full-time job before we even realized what was happening. There’s no fancy reception area or anything like that. Just some desks, a lot of tools, and usually a pot of tea sitting somewhere. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask what we're working on. It gets pretty hot in the summers, so we keep the fans going all day. Dealing with the Delhi heat while trying to stay focused is part of the routine. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to get the work done. It’s not always perfect, and things can get a bit messy when we have a big order, but we manage to keep things moving.
