We set up shop in New Friends Colony, specifically in Block C at number 611. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main markets. We do merchandising, which means we spend a lot of time looking at samples and talking to suppliers. The office is just a regular room filled with boxes of products we’re checking out. We started this because we liked the idea of finding things people actually want to buy. It’s not always easy. Some days we just sit and wait for samples to arrive. We’re a small team, just a handful of us who’ve known each other for years. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything. We just drink a lot of chai and get through the list of tasks for the day. New Friends Colony is a nice place to work because you can actually find a place to park most mornings. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they’re looking for something specific in the merchandise world. The space is a bit cluttered with all the prototypes and old catalogs, but we know where everything is. We try to keep it simple and just focus on the items we’re handling that day. It's a steady life and we're okay with that. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in, but that is rare.
