Our business, Indian Crafts, is over in the Okhla Indl. Area, Phase-Ii, at D-21/5. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a lot of trucks and people moving very fast. We have a spot in one of the industrial buildings there. It’s a sturdy place, which is good because there’s a lot of vibration from the factories nearby. Inside, it’s mostly just open space for sorting through the different crafts we handle. We don’t spend much on decorating the office because we’re mostly busy in the warehouse section. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving crates around, but that’s just part of the job. At D-21/5, we have a routine that we’ve stuck to for years. We start early before the traffic gets really bad and stay until the last pickup is done. It gets quite loud with all the activity in Phase-Ii, but it’s a good place to be if you’re moving goods. We don’t have a lot of visitors, mostly just the delivery drivers and the occasional supplier. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we get our morning chai. It is a simple, hardworking atmosphere here. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized among all the boxes. It is not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day at Indian Crafts. There's always a truck waiting outside our bay.
