Hg Exports, Noida

We’re located over at 69/1 Govindpuri, right on the second floor. Even though we have Noida in the name, this New Delhi spot is where the day-to-day work for Hg Exports actually happens. It’s a crowded neighborhood, and the building itself is nothing special, but it’s where we get things done. Being on the second floor means we’re always carrying boxes or samples up and down those stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We deal with exports, so there’s a lot of talk about shipping containers and customs forms. It’s not glamorous work. The office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and product samples everywhere. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders for the overseas clients are packed correctly and sent out on time. The traffic in Govindpuri can be a real headache, especially when we’re trying to get to the main shipping hubs. We just work around it. Some days the phones don't stop ringing, and other days we’re just quietly checking through inventory. We’ve been at this for a while and have learned that the best way to work is just to stay organized and not get too stressed when things go wrong, which they sometimes do. It’s a simple, honest business running out of a busy part of Delhi.
