Harrys Overseas

Our place, Harrys Overseas, is at 1/1 Vikram Vihar. It’s a bit of a mix here, mostly handling things that are going elsewhere. Since we deal with overseas stuff, there is always a lot of packing and checking labels. The office is usually cluttered with boxes and bits of tape, and we spend a good chunk of time on the phone or looking at shipping manifests. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. Vikram Vihar is a quiet enough spot, which helps when we need to focus on the details. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people; it’s just a small group of us trying to get things out the door on time. Sometimes the schedules get tight and things get a bit stressful, but we usually manage. We’ve learned over the years that things rarely go exactly as planned with international shipping, so we just take it as it comes. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see us surrounded by paperwork and stacks of cartons waiting for the courier. It’s a lot of double-checking and making sure the numbers match up. We just do our bit and hope the logistics work out on the other end. It’s a simple operation and we just try to keep the workflow moving along and make sure every shipment is accounted for correctly.
