Handicrafts & Textile Exports

You can find us on the second floor at 323 in Sant Nagar, which is over in the East of Kailash area. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you get here, you’ll see we have quite a lot going on. Handicrafts & Textile Exports has been based in this spot for some time. The rooms are filled with samples of fabrics and various items we deal with. There’s usually a bit of a mess because we are always looking through things or packing stuff up to go out. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a showroom; it’s more of a workspace where things actually happen. The light comes in through the side windows, and you can hear the sounds of Sant Nagar down below. We don’t spend much on decorating the place because we’re too busy keeping track of our inventory and making sure everything gets where it needs to go. It’s just a group of us who know how to handle the textiles and the crafts without needing a lot of direction. We’ve gotten to know the local courier guys and the other business owners in the building pretty well. It’s a practical setup. We don't have fancy brochures or a front desk person. If the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. That’s how we operate every day, just keeping things moving from our little corner of East of Kailash.
