Geecees Exports

Our place, Geecees Exports, is situated at 165 Sainik Farms, on Western Avenue. It’s a bit different from the usual industrial zones because Sainik Farms has a bit more space and some trees. We use the space for our export business, so there are always boxes being taped up or pallets being moved around. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when a big shipment is due to go out. The building itself is just a regular structure, nothing fancy to look at from the road. Inside, it’s all about logistics. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. The Western Avenue side is usually quiet in the mornings, which is nice when we’re trying to get organized. We don't have a big corporate logo on the wall or a fancy lobby. We just have a lot of tape, bubble wrap, and shipping labels. Most of us here have been doing this for a while, so we don't need much instruction. We just know what needs to happen. Sometimes it gets stressful when things are late, but we usually manage to get through it. It’s a practical business run by people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We just work hard and hope the trucks show up on time. That is the daily life for us at number 165.
