You can find Floortex Collections at A/128 in Lajpat Nagar-1. Lajpat Nagar is a busy place, as anyone who lives in Delhi knows. Our spot is a bit more tucked away than the main market, but we still get plenty of the local energy. We handle flooring stuff, mostly carpets and things like that. The shop is full of rolls of material, so it can get a bit cramped inside. We don’t have a big team of sales people in suits. It’s usually just us in our regular clothes, ready to move some heavy rolls if someone wants to see a pattern. We’ve been here for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well. It’s not a high-end boutique. It’s just a place where you can find decent flooring. We don't use fancy lighting to make things look better than they are. We just show you the material as it is. Most of our days are spent talking to customers or arranging deliveries. The traffic in Lajpat Nagar can be a nightmare, so we try to plan our movements carefully. We don't have a mission or a grand vision. We just sell floor coverings and try to make sure we don't run out of stock. It’s a simple business. We open the shutters in the morning and close them at night. It’s just how we live and work here in the city and it keeps us busy.
