Finger Crafts

We are tucked away in C-143 in Greater Kailash-1. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than a commercial market, which is nice for the kind of work we do. Finger Crafts is basically just us sitting around a table making things. We do a lot of small-scale handiwork. It’s called Finger Crafts because everything is literally made with our fingers—no big machinery involved here. The space is filled with bits of fabric, beads, and wire. It can get pretty cluttered when we are in the middle of a big project. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who like making things. We often drink too much tea while we work and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a showroom where you can walk in and browse. It’s more of a workshop where we fulfill orders that people send our way through word of mouth. Sometimes a project doesn't turn out quite like we thought, so we take it apart and start over. That’s the thing with handmade stuff; it takes the time it takes. We aren't in a hurry to grow into some huge company. We just like the work we do here in our little corner of GK-1 and we stay busy enough as it is.
