Dunkin Donuts

We are located in Greater Kailash I, right in the main part of the market. It’s a bit different from the smaller shops around here because of the big windows and the bright lights. Every morning, the smell of coffee is the first thing you notice when you walk in. We spend a lot of time arranging the racks so everything looks decent before the morning crowd arrives. Some people come in for a quick drink before they head to the office, while others sit for a while with their phones out. We have to keep the tables clean, which is a constant job when kids come in after school. They leave crumbs everywhere. The machines make a lot of noise, hissing and clicking all day. We try to keep the music at a level where you can still hear people talking. It gets busy in the late afternoon when the sun starts to go down and everyone wants something sweet. We handle a lot of boxes, stacking them up behind the counter for the delivery guys who come and go. It’s not a complicated place to work, but you have to stay on your feet. We don't have a big story to tell. We just open the doors, brew the coffee, and make sure the donuts are out on the shelves. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood for people living in GK1. We keep it simple and stay busy until closing time.
