Dryco

Shop number 3 in West Nizamuddin is where you will find Dryco. It is a small space, but we have made it work for us over the years. Nizamuddin is such an old and historic part of Delhi, and being here feels like being part of a big community. There are people walking by our window all day long, going to the market or heading home. We aren't a big operation by any means. It’s just a small shop where we handle our business quietly. The shelves are packed with stuff, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down, but that's just the way it is in a small shop. We don't have a website or a big advertising sign. People mostly find us because they live in the neighborhood or someone told them about us. We started this because we wanted to do something on our own, and West Nizamuddin seemed like a good place to set up. The winters are nice here, but the summers can get very stuffy inside the shop. We just keep the door open and hope for a breeze from the street. We aren't doing anything fancy or revolutionary. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and do our work. It’s a simple life and we are happy with how things are. We know our regulars by name and they know us too, which is nice and makes the days better.
