Dhawan Exports

Dhawan Exports is tucked away in Amrit Nagar, right in South Extension Part I. It’s at A 12, which is easy to find once you’re in the neighborhood. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s not a massive warehouse, just a decent-sized space where we manage our shipments. Mostly, we deal with a lot of textiles and small goods that need to go abroad. The office is usually cluttered with fabric samples and shipping documents. It gets a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once. We’re just a small team here. A few of us have been working together for years, so we know each other's habits. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but that’s just life here. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. We just take the orders, pack the stuff, and make sure it gets to the port on time. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and then a lot of lifting boxes. The neighborhood is nice, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a regular job for us. We try to keep things organized, even if the desk looks like a mess. We just do our bit every day and head home when the work is done. It's not a flashy life but it pays the bills.
