Crave ( Pub )

Paramjeet Singh’s name is on the paperwork for this place, Crave. We’re up on the second floor at F-125 in Lado Sarai. It’s a bit of a hike up the stairs, especially if you’ve had a long day. Being a pub in this part of New Delhi means we see all kinds of people. Some come in just to sit and quiet down after work, others bring their friends and make a bit more noise. We don’t have a massive floor plan or anything like that. It’s just a simple room where we serve drinks and keep things going. Sometimes the music is a little loud, or maybe the AC struggles when it gets really hot outside, but we manage. Most of the staff has been here for a couple of years now. We know the neighborhood well and the local shopkeepers usually drop by. It’s not like those fancy bars you see in the malls. This is just a regular spot in Lado Sarai where you can grab a chair. We spend our mornings cleaning up and getting the stock sorted for the evening rush. It’s a lot of lifting crates and checking bottles. My brother helps out with the accounts on the weekends. We don’t really do much advertising. People just find us by walking by or hearing about us from someone else. It works out okay for us in the end.
