Craftind Heritage

Craftind Heritage is located in Safdarjung Enclave at B 4/9. This is a quieter part of town compared to the big markets, which is something I like. The shop is filled with various items we have picked up, mostly traditional things that take up a lot of space on the shelves. I spend a good part of my morning just dusting everything because the shelves seem to catch a lot of dirt. We have some items sitting on the floor too because there just isn't enough room to put everything up. It is mostly just me here during the day. I sit at a small desk near the front and wait for people to drop in. Sometimes no one comes for hours and I just read the paper or look out the window at the street. When someone does come in, they usually spend a lot of time looking around at all the different pieces. I have to be careful when I am packing things because many of them are quite fragile. I use a lot of old newspapers and bubble wrap to make sure nothing breaks. The lighting in here isn't the best, but it gives the place a sort of old-fashioned feel. It is a slow-paced kind of business and we don't really try to rush anyone. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by.
