Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd

We are located on the third floor of C-52 in Duggal Colony, right on Devli Road in Khanpur. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it's worth it once you see all the stuff we have packed in here. Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd uses this space primarily for our finer collections. Because we're up on the third floor, it’s a little quieter than the street below, which is nice when you're trying to look closely at the detail on a hand-knotted carpet. The windows let in some decent light, though we have to use lamps in the corners. We don’t have a lot of space for fancy displays, so things are often stacked high. You might have to wait a minute while we pull something out from the bottom of a pile. We aren't trying to be a high-end mall store. We are more like a warehouse that welcomes people. I’ve worked here long enough to know where everything is, even when it looks a bit messy to someone else. We handle everything ourselves, from unpacking the crates to talking to the customers. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but seeing the craftsmanship every day is a good trade-off. We keep our paperwork on an old desk in the corner and mostly just focus on the items. It's a real, working office and showroom without any of the extra polish. We just get on with things.
