About Comunity Crafts Exports – Art & Craft in South Delhi
If you walk down to the ground floor of I/8 in Jangpura Extension, you’ll find us. Comunity Crafts Exports has been here for a good while. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for moving stuff in and out, which is good because we handle a lot of items. Jangpura is a decent place to be, fairly central. Our space isn't very large, so things can get a bit tight when a new batch of crafts comes in. We spend most of our time looking over what the makers have sent us. Sometimes there are small mistakes, and we have to fix them or send them back. It’s just part of the daily grind. There is usually tea going on the small stove in the corner. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. Most of our work is done over the phone or through paperwork for the exports. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. We try to keep things simple. There isn’t much to say other than we show up every morning and do the work. It’s a local business, run by local people, and we just keep at it day after day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to get the products packed up and shipped out to where they need to go.
