You can find us at T 134 in Ward No 6, right in Islam Colony in the Mehrauli area. Casse-Croute Sandwich Bar & Kitchen Private Limited is basically a place where we spend all day around bread and ingredients. Mehrauli is a very old part of Delhi, and the streets are narrow and full of life. Our kitchen is usually quite hot, especially in the afternoons when the ovens are going full blast. We don't have a lot of room to spare, so everyone has to move quickly and stay out of each other's way. It’s a busy environment with the sound of chopping and the timer going off every few minutes. We aren't a big chain with a manual for everything; we just know how we like our sandwiches made. The colony is a tight-knit place, and we see the same faces walking by our door every day. We spend a lot of time figuring out the best way to get deliveries out through the crowded lanes. The building itself is just a standard local structure, and we’ve made the kitchen work within the space we have. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just stainless steel tables and the tools we need to prep food. We just keep our heads down, make the food, and try to get everything out to the customers while it’s still fresh. It’s tiring but it’s what we do.
