Cafe Dori Llp

Our place is out in Sultanpur, in the Lal Dora village area of Mehrauli. We’re at Kh. No. 360. It’s a bit of an interesting spot, tucked away from the main city buzz but still plenty busy with local life. Cafe Dori is run by a small group of us who just like making things. We aren't a big corporate entity with a board of directors. Most of the time, we’re just in the back trying out new recipes or fixing a broken chair. The building is older and has its quirks, like pipes that rattle sometimes. We don't mind. It gives the place some character. We do everything ourselves, from sweeping the front porch to handling the accounts. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make food and serve it. Mehrauli has a lot of history, and we like being part of the community here. You might see us at the local market picking out vegetables in the morning. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just hope people like what we make and come back another time. It’s a lot of long hours, especially on weekends when more people are out and about. We don't have a uniform; we just wear what's comfortable for working all day. It's a practical, everyday kind of life for us here in the village and we enjoy the routine of it.
