Cafe Coffee Day

We have been here in Saket for a while now. It is just a regular spot where people come when they need a break from the mall or just want to sit down for a bit. The tables are usually a bit wobbly, but nobody seems to mind much. We spend most of our mornings just wiping down the counters and getting things ready for the afternoon rush. It gets pretty loud sometimes because of the music and everyone talking at once. We are right in the middle of everything here. Most of the people who come in are just looking for a corner to work on their laptops or meet a friend they haven't seen in a few months. I usually see the same group of college kids every Tuesday. They always sit in the back. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to wait around, but that is just how it goes. The chairs are comfortable enough, I guess, but they have seen better days. We don't really do anything fancy. It is just a place with tables and chairs and some machines behind the counter. Most of the staff has been here for a year or two, so we know how the afternoon sun hits the front window and makes it too bright for a few minutes. We just pull the shades down and keep going. It is a simple life here in this part of town.
