Cafe Coffee Day

We have been here in Sangam Vihar for a while now. Most people know the spot. It is just a place to sit down for a bit when the day gets too busy. We start early getting the machines ready and wiping down the tables. The smell of the beans is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It gets noisy sometimes, especially in the afternoons when the younger crowd drops by after their classes or work. We don't do anything too fancy here. Just coffee and some snacks if you are hungry. The chairs are okay, maybe a bit worn out from everyone sitting there all day. We try to keep the place tidy but it's hard when it's packed. Some people stay for hours with their laptops and others just grab a cup and leave. It’s a mix of everyone from around here. We know some of the regulars by name now. They don't even have to say what they want. It’s funny how that happens. You just get used to the rhythm of the street outside. Sangam Vihar is always moving, so having a corner where you can just breathe is nice. The door squeaks a bit when you open it, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. When it rains, the water puddles a little near the entrance, and we have to put out a mat so people don't slip. We aren't trying to change the world. We just make the drinks and hope the AC stays running.
