Cafe Coffee Day

You can find us over at A-6 in South Extension Part 1. It’s a busy area in New Delhi, and we’re right in the middle of all the action. We’ve been here for a while, serving coffee and snacks to whoever walks in. The shop isn't anything super fancy. It’s got some tables that are a bit wobbly and chairs that have been sat in by thousands of people. We try to keep things clean, but on a busy Saturday, it’s hard to stay on top of everything. The staff is just a bunch of regular people who like coffee. We aren't trained baristas from some fancy school. We just learned how to use the machines by doing it every day. Sometimes the milk frother acts up, or we run out of a certain type of bean, and we just have to deal with it. People come here for all sorts of reasons. Some are just waiting for someone, others are trying to get some work done on their laptops. We don't have any strict rules about how long you can stay. We just want people to feel comfortable while they have their drink. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, but it makes the place feel cozy when it’s raining outside. We don't have a big corporate mission. We just open the doors, make the coffee, and hope everyone has a decent time while they’re here.
