Buraq International

Buraq International is based at R-14 on the ground floor of Nafees Road. We are right in the Jamia Nagar Batla House area, which is almost always crowded with people. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Hari Masjid. It’s a small space, and we have to be careful how we move around so we don't knock over any of the stock. We handle a lot of different items that go out to different places. Even though the name sounds big, it’s really just a few of us working in a couple of rooms. The floor is concrete and we have these big metal shelves that hold all the inventory. The street outside is very narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everything else has to stop. It’s a bit of a headache sometimes, but that’s just life on Nafees Road. We drink a lot of coffee during the day to stay awake when things get slow. My nephew helps me with the labels and the shipping forms because my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and you'll see us working. We’ve been in Batla House for a while now and we know how things work in this part of town. It’s a busy life but we are used to it by now.
