If you come down to Okhla Industrial Estate Phase III, you’ll find us at number 253. Billiardiers International is really just a workshop focused on pool and billiard tables. It’s a big space because the tables take up so much room. There is always the smell of wood glue and felt around here. We spend a lot of time leveling slabs and making sure the cushions are just right. It’s heavy work, moving those slates around. The industrial estate is always humming with trucks and noise, and we fit right in with that. We aren't a showroom with bright lights and salesmen. We are more of a place where sawdust gets on your shoes. Sometimes we are refurbishing an old table that has seen better days, and other times we are putting together something new. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking the wood for warps and making sure the pockets are fitted tight. We’ve been in this part of Okhla for a long time. The neighborhood is full of factories and warehouses, so it’s practical for what we do. We mostly just focus on the craft of it. If someone calls, they usually speak to one of us directly while we're in the middle of working on a frame. It’s not fancy, but it’s what we know how to do. The days go by fast when you’re busy with your hands.
