Design On Exhibition & Interior is located at 19/20 in the Malviya Nagar Corner Market. Being in the market means there's always something going on outside our door. It’s great because if we need anything, we just step outside and it’s right there. Our place is a mix of an office and a workshop, really. We have drawing boards and computer screens, but also bits of wood and metal samples lying around. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we get things done. We spend a lot of time talking about colors and materials. It’s funny how much time you can spend looking at different shades of grey. We aren’t big on fancy marketing talk. We just show people what we can do and hope they like it. Most of our days are spent sketching or on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when there are too many projects at once, and the office gets even more cluttered. But that’s just part of the job. We’ve been in Malviya Nagar for a while now and we like the vibe of the corner market. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We just show up, do the designs, and try to make sure everything fits together like it's supposed to. It's not always perfect, but we try our best.
