Mad Over Gifts

Our little shop is tucked away in Malviya Nagar. It’s a lively area, and we fit right in with all the other shops around the block. We mostly handle gifts and small items that people like to give to their friends on birthdays or for other reasons. It started out as just a small idea and now we are here every day from morning till night. The shelves are pretty packed with things. We don't have a huge team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is in the right place. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. Malviya Nagar has changed a lot over the years with new buildings popping up, but we’ve stayed right here. We see a lot of young people coming in after they finish their lunch nearby. They are usually looking for something quick and nice to give to someone they know. We don't use any big fancy computer systems for everything here. We just write things down and keep track of what people like. It’s a bit noisy outside sometimes with the cars and the rickshaws always honking at each other, but it’s home for us. We spend a lot of time rearranging the window display so people can see what we have when they walk by. It’s just honest work. We aren't trying to be some big national brand. We just like having a shop where people feel okay just browsing.
