Classic Decoratives

Our shop, Classic Decoratives, is located at B/83 in Dayanand Colony, over in Lajpat Nagar-Iv. It’s a nice little corner of the city. We have a variety of items for people who want to add something extra to their homes. You will find things like small brass statues, flower vases, and different types of wall hangings on our shelves. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. Sometimes it feels like everything is on top of each other. People come in mostly to browse and see if anything catches their eye. We get a lot of locals who are just out for a walk in the colony. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It is just a regular shop where we keep things that look nice. I spend a good part of the morning dusting all the items because the city air is quite dirty. My helper and I have been here for several years now. We know which items are popular and which ones stay on the shelf for a long time. We get new stock every now and then, and it’s always a bit of a puzzle to find space for it. It is a quiet kind of work, and we enjoy talking to the customers who come in looking for a gift or something for their own living room. It’s just how we spend our days here.
