Tiptop Dupatta Corner

You can find our little shop, Tiptop Dupatta Corner, at number 63 in the New Bhagat Singh Market. We are in the Malviya Nagar area. We have been here for quite a while now. The shop is mostly just rows and rows of dupattas in every color you can imagine. We have them hanging from the ceiling and tucked into every corner of the shelves. It’s a small place, so when more than three or four people come in at once, it feels very full. We spend a lot of our time helping people match their outfits with the right scarf. It takes a lot of patience because sometimes the colors are just a little bit off. The market outside is always noisy with people shopping for their groceries or clothes. We open up in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. We don't do any advertising or anything like that. People just find us while they are walking through the market. It’s a simple life, just selling one thing and trying to do it right every day. We know the other people who have shops nearby and we all look out for each other. It’s a nice little community here in Bhagat Singh Market. Most days it’s just me and a helper keeping the shop running.
