At Barista Coffee Company Limited, we work out of B/25 in the Qutab Institutional Area. While most people know us for the cafes, this is where the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. It’s a pretty quiet part of New Delhi compared to the markets. Our office is where we handle the planning, the sourcing of beans, and the general administration. There are always people coming in and out with news from the different stores. We have plenty of coffee around, as you might expect. It’s a busy place but not in a frantic way. We spend a lot of time looking at reports and talking to our managers across the city. The building is simple and functional. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. We prefer to keep things practical. Most of us here have a real interest in how the coffee is roasted and served, even if we are just sitting at desks. It takes a lot of coordination to keep things running smoothly. We deal with everything from supply chains to maintenance schedules from this address. Sometimes we test out new ideas here before they go to the shops. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are a good group. We don’t really go for big corporate speeches. We just want to make sure the beans are fresh and the machines are working correctly every single time for everyone who visits our shops.
