You can find Bahety Overseas Pvt Ltd at B-135 in Panchsheel Vihar, right near the Press Enclave area. We deal with export and import stuff, mostly focusing on overseas trade. Our office is in a residential-looking neighborhood, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than the busy city center. It’s a lot of checking emails and making long-distance phone calls at odd hours because of the different time zones. Sometimes I’m here quite late at night talking to someone on the other side of the world while the rest of the street is asleep. The office has a lot of samples lying around from different shipments we've handled. It looks a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is located. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us trying to make sure the shipping containers get to where they need to go without too much trouble at the port or the customs office. There’s always some new regulation or some shipping delay to deal with. It can be a real headache, but that’s just the nature of the business. We drink a lot of chai and try not to take the stress of the logistics too seriously. Panchsheel Vihar is a decent place to work. It’s quiet enough that we can actually hear ourselves think most of the time. We’ve been operating out of B-135 for quite a while now. We don't have any big speeches or mission statements. We just move goods.
