Baba'S Creation (India)

Baba'S Creation (India) is over at Rz-2066/26 in the Tughlakabad Extension. It is a crowded part of town, and our building is right in the middle of the bustle. We have a few rooms where the sewing machines and cutting tables are set up. It is always a bit noisy with the hum of the motors and people talking over them. There are rolls of fabric and bags of buttons piled up in the corners. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of orders to finish. We do not have a big fancy office, just a small desk where the phone sits and the ledger is kept. The lighting is not the best, but we have some extra lamps for the detail work. Sometimes we work late into the night when there is a big deadline. The neighborhood is full of small workshops like ours, so there is always someone around. We go out for tea a couple of times a day to the stall down the street. It is a good way to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. We are not trying to be a big brand or anything. We just like making things and keeping the shop running. The walls have some old calendars and pictures pinned up. It feels like home to most of us since we spend so much time here. It is just a simple, busy place where we get our work done.
