Attic Products is tucked away in Phase-II of the Okhla Industrial Area, specifically at X-6. If you know Okhla, you know it’s a maze of factories and small shops. Our unit is one of those places where the work is more important than the decor. We’ve got machines that have seen better days but still run perfectly fine if you know how to nudge them. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there from years of use. We make things here, so there’s always a bit of noise—drilling, hammering, or just the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s not a place for a suit and tie. We usually wear old shirts that we don’t mind getting dirty. The office is just a small corner with a computer and a phone that rings more than we’d like. Lunch is usually whatever someone brings from home or something quick from a stall down the street. We’ve been at this X-6 location for quite a while now. The neighbors change sometimes, but the general feeling of the industrial area stays the same. It’s about getting the orders done and out the door. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just focus on the products we're making and try to stay on top of the schedule. There’s a stray dog that hangs around the loading dock. We named him Rusty and usually leave some scraps out for him.
