Anoop Export

Anoop Export operates out of Dayanand Colony in Lajpat Nagar. It is a different vibe than the main markets, a bit more like a regular neighborhood. Our office is at A-6 and we spend most of our time on the phone or handling paperwork for various shipments. Since we do export, there are always boxes being moved around or samples being packed up. It is not a retail shop where people just walk in off the street to buy one thing. We have a small team here and we all do a bit of everything. Sometimes the office is quiet when everyone is out at the ports, other times it is a mess of tape and cardboard. The walls are covered with maps and shipping schedules that we have pinned up over the years. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where every piece of paper is hidden. We usually have a radio playing some old songs to keep the energy up during the long afternoons. Dealing with exports means we have to be careful with the details, so there is a lot of double-checking going on. We drink tea from the stall at the corner at least three times a day. We chose this part of Lajpat Nagar because it is peaceful enough to get some real work done without the chaos of the main markets. We have grown slowly and steadily without making any big fuss. It is just about being reliable and showing up every morning to do the work.
