You can find Anantha Overseas down in the lower ground floor at G-7/5 in Malviya Nagar. Being in a basement level means it stays a bit cooler, which we appreciate during the hotter months. We handle a lot of paperwork and logistics from this office. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the files and samples we keep around. Malviya Nagar is a lively place, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve been operating from this location for some time. We deal with overseas stuff, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer checking shipments. It’s not always exciting, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the light isn't the best down here, but we’ve got plenty of lamps. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us making sure everything goes where it’s supposed to go. We know the neighbors in the building well. It feels like a little community. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that does everything. We just have our desks and our work. It’s a practical way to run things. Most people find us through word of mouth. We just try to stay on top of the daily tasks and get through the pile of work on our desks. Sometimes we go out for tea in the afternoon to get a break from the screen. It’s a simple life, but we like the pace of it. We just get the job done.
