Amrita Silks

We are located at B-226/2 in Prakash Mohalla, which is part of the East of Kailash area. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around. Amrita Silks has been here for a good while. The shop isn't massive, but we have enough room for what we need to show. The shelves are usually full, sometimes a bit messy when we’re busy sorting through things. We get a lot of locals walking by. East of Kailash is a pretty well-known spot, so it’s not too hard to explain to people where we are. The lighting inside is okay, though we added a few extra bulbs last year to see the colors better. It’s just a regular local spot. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly family and a couple of helpers. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet. We handle all the silk items right here. The neighborhood can get loud with the traffic and the markets nearby, but you get used to it. Prakash Mohalla has its own rhythm. We open up every morning and stay until the evening. It’s a practical setup. Nothing too fancy, just the way we like it. If you come by B-226/2, you’ll see us working. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and plan to stay here at this address. It's a lot of work but we enjoy it.
