Alamgir Papier Machie House is tucked away at 6/3 in Jangpura-B. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s a bit of a maze with all the small lanes and houses packed together. Our workspace is pretty modest. It’s filled with the smell of glue, paper, and paint. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have shelves and tables covered in projects that are in various stages of being finished. Jangpura-B is a lively neighborhood, so there is always some noise coming from the street outside. We have grown used to the sound of neighbors talking and the occasional scooter zooming past. We are not a big company with a bunch of departments. It’s just us doing the work ourselves. Sometimes our fingers get stained with ink or paint, but nobody really cares about that here.
