Aks Clothing Co. Ltd. is based out of E-43 in Greater Kailash Enclave-I. It’s a bit of a different vibe here compared to the big industrial parks. Being in GK means we are surrounded by more of a residential and commercial mix. Our space is where we handle the designs and the business side of the clothing we make. It’s often cluttered with fabric samples, sketches, and half-finished ideas pinned to the walls. We don't have a sterile, perfect office. There’s usually a pile of boxes near the door and a few sewing machines tucked into the corner for prototypes. We started this because we liked the idea of making clothes that actually fit real people. The team is small, and we often find ourselves wearing multiple hats—one minute we’re looking at patterns, the next we’re answering the phone. It’s a bit hectic, especially when a new season is coming up, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We aren't interested in sounding like a big fashion house with a bunch of buzzwords. We just like fabric and we like seeing things being made from scratch. Sometimes we argue over a shade of blue or the placement of a button for an hour, but that’s just how we work. It’s a bit messy and loud, and there’s almost always someone looking for a missing pair of scissors, but it’s our little corner of Delhi and we like it.
