Ajooba Handicrafts Art Ware Pvt. Ltd. is located on Idgha Road, right behind the Chhatarpur car parking area. It is at Kasara No.323. We are in a spot that isn't very pretty on the outside, but inside we have a lot going on with all the different crafts we handle. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with bits of metal, wood, or stone depending on what we are making that week. We have people here who have been working with their hands for their whole lives. It is not a factory where everything is done by a machine. You can see the small differences in everything we produce because a person actually sat there and worked on it. The road outside can get pretty busy with people going to the parking lot, but once you are inside the gates, it is all about the art. We don’t really do much in the way of big marketing campaigns. Most people find out about us because they saw something we made in a shop or a gallery. We spend our days checking the quality of the pieces and making sure they get packed carefully so they don’t break. It is a slow process sometimes, and you can’t really rush this kind of work if you want it to look right. We are just a group of people making things the old way in a busy part of Chhatarpur and we enjoy the work.
