Acharya Praveen Mahendru

I've been based here in Lajpat Nagar IV for quite a while now. My place is right by National Park, specifically at number 47. People usually find me when they are looking for some guidance or just someone to talk through their situation with. I don't really have a big staff or anything like that. It is mostly just me here at the office most days. The neighborhood is usually busy, but it stays quiet enough inside for what I do. I’ve lived in the area long enough to know the regular faces and the way the traffic flows around National Park. Setting up here made sense because it’s easy for folks to get to. I spend a lot of time reading and going over charts or notes depending on who is coming by. It's not a fancy setup, just a comfortable space with a few chairs and some books. I try to keep things straightforward. If someone calls, I answer if I'm not busy with someone else. I don't use much technology besides my phone and the light in the room. The building has been here for years, and I’ve tried to keep my corner of it simple. It's a job that keeps me busy, but I like the pace. Sometimes I’m here late, sometimes I leave early if it’s a slow Tuesday. I've gotten used to the noise of the kids playing nearby in the evenings. That’s just how it goes when you work for yourself in a spot like this.
