Our office is located at 5 Jbs Halden Avenue, right in the Silver Spring complex. We are in Tower No 8, Flat 7C. It’s a bit of a different setup being in a tower in Kolkata 700105, but it works well for us. Pricewaterhousecoopers Pvt Ltd is what we go by on our official documents. Inside, it’s a pretty standard office space. We have a view of the surrounding area, which is actually quite nice when you need a quick break from looking at a computer screen. There are about ten of us here most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at various reports and spreadsheets. It’s a quiet enough place, though you can hear the city noises outside. We don’t have a lot of corporate jargon to share with you. We just come in, do what’s on the list for the day, and try to make sure we don’t make any silly mistakes. The kitchen is small, but the kettle is always on for someone. We’ve been here for a bit now and have settled into a comfortable routine. People bring in snacks to share, and we talk about the local news or the weather. It’s not a high-pressure, polished environment. It’s just a place where work happens. We handle a lot of paperwork and digital files, and we try to keep it all sorted out as best as we can. It’s a simple operation, run by people who just want to do their jobs.
